FuturArc examines progressive architecture in Southeast Asia China and Australia. Recognising the significant impact of the built form on society and the environment FuturArc advocates architecture that demonstrates creativity social responsibility and sustainability. It encourages architects engineers and developers to become innovators in design and early adopters of technologies. FuturArc`s content is developed in two components. The first is the discussion section an in-depth examination of issues relevant to architects today including interviews with leading minds in architecture and design coverage of ground-breaking conferences and design competitions and information from think tanks from around the world. The second component is the project profiles section which looks at significant projects in Australia China Southeast Asia both recently completed and on the drawing board organised according to a specific theme. Editorial is gathered by contributing editors working in the 20 offices of its publisher BCI Group; tapping into brilliant minds in architecture and related professions in Australia China Hong Kong Indonesia Malaysia Philippines Singapore Thailand and Vietnam. From its inaugural edition promoting green building in Asia FuturArc has stayed true to its mission of contributing positively to society by enabling a large audience to access information on architecture and building technology. FuturArc journal is published in three languages: English Chinese and Indonesian.
